HEUNISCH GUSS at Newcast

Gießerei Heunisch and its subsidiaries presented their range of services at the NEWCAST technology trade fair in Düsseldorf in the midst of nearly 2,000 exhibitors from all over the world. NEWCAST forms a technology trade fair quartet together with GIFA, METEC and THERMOPROCESS. The leading industrial sector trade fairs posted a new record with 79,000 visitors from 83 countries.

HEUNISCH GUSS impressed visitors with its attractively arranged trade fair appearance. Complex machine moulded grey and nodular iron castings as well as compacted graphite iron castings and gravity die castings from aluminium alloys with the highest requirements were also exhibited. Stand visitors were able to be convinced by the depth of added value at HEUNISCH GUSS. A broad spectrum of additional services ranging from machining of cast parts to innovative colouring of aluminium castings was presented.

Above all, the customers were the focal point of the trade fair for the sales team from HEUNISCH. Quite a few business partners were able to be welcomed at the trade fair stand. The intent was to offer them a central venue in Düsseldorf with the trade fair appearance. So it was no wonder that many gladly sought out a conversation in conjunction with a Franconian snack plate! Alone the deepening of customer relations made the trade fair appearance so important.

Gaining new contacts was the second major goal of the trade fair days. In this regard the HEUNISCH Group sales team was also able to welcome numerous interested parties at the stand. “We were able to establish quite a few very promising contacts, especially from the sector of construction machines and utility vehicles”, says Thomas Laue, Sales Manager from HEUNISCH GUSS.

But not only the sales team was on site with the trade fair stand in Düsseldorf. In particular, the GIFA – the exhibition for casting machines and foundry supplies – was a venue for numerous HEUNISCH technicians. Maintenance and production planning employees, department managers as well as the management of the HEUNISCH Group took advantage of the opportunity to have a close look at the latest developments from casting machines and foundry auxiliary material.

All things considered, HEUNISCH GUSS representatives were satisfied with the trade fair participation, even if the effort required is immense. After all, such a good platform for presenting the company to a global audience – and parallel, concentrated information with regard to suppliers – is only possible every four years at the quarter of technology trade fairs in Düsseldorf.
