Legal information on the use of the whistleblower system

The Whistleblower Protection Act (HinSchG) and the EU Whistleblower Directive (2019/1937/EU) establish standardized protection for whistleblowers. Whistleblowing means the communication of information about wrongdoings with negative effects for the company. The law regulates the protection of natural persons who have gained knowledge of violations and pass it on to reporting bodies. It prohibits any reprisals or retaliation against whistleblowers and aims to ensure that the identity of the whistleblower is not disclosed.

All employees of our company and our business partners (suppliers and customers, etc.) have the opportunity to report violations of laws and policies - also completely anonymously. The system also serves to prevent and avoid violations.
